Our Website like our Farm is always under construction and we’ll one day hopefully have it completed.
Of course it will always be changing hopefully for the better!

Squaw Butte Poultry is located in the South West part of Gem County half way between Emmett and New Plymouth Idaho. We're at the edge of the foot hills of Squaw Butte and just above the Payette River.


We have a small 5 acre farm where we Raise Heritage Turkeys, Full Size Orpingtons and Wyandottes, a small flock of Silver Appleyard Ducks, a small flock of Sebastopol Geese, and a few Beef Cattle.

My wife loves to garden and keeps the neighborhood supplied with her fresh vegetables through the summer months. We have never sold an egg to eat. We give all our extra eggs to Family, Friends and Neighbors or boil and feed them back to the birds.


After spending 20 years living and working in Alaska we retired in 2002 and moved back to the Treasure Valley where I was born and raised, never dreaming that we would get this involved in raising birds.

Like our home and farm our Poultry and Incubating will always be a work in progress. Always striving to improve the small details while we learn more every day.

We strive for one goal and that is to have Happy, Healthy Birds and Animals whether they are kept as pets or for food.
